Disturbing? Hilarious? Children’s Drawings

I’ve been sorting through the collected piles of artwork created by my little ones. Usually I keep them in a bin next to the bed, which is now overflowing. In my attempts to become better organized and with thoughts towards showcasing some of their pieces, a new system is happening.

Wide, low-riding canvas storage containers that slide in and out from under the bed with ease. One for Wyndham, one for Abby. That way when they make something new at home or come home with their daily creations – I can quickly toss them in their place. I want to treasure their art; so vivid, so charming, abstract and whimsical.

As Wyndham’s writing and drawing moves into more readable / life-like imagery – I’m wondering if this is the next stage of development I have to look forward to…
