12 Gifts Perfect for the Disney-Obsessed Toddler

Around our house it’s all Disney all the time. My daughter is mildly (OK, completely) obsessed with all things Disney. Her favorite show to watch is The Mickey Mouse Club House, and even though she’s still never seen the entire movie (only YouTube song clips) she loves Ariel and runs around singing “Kiss the Girl” on a regular basis. She loves “It’s a Small World” ever since her first trip to Disneyland at 15 months, and we sing the song every night at bed time, and don’t even get me started on her love for Minnie Mouse. Every morning and afternoon when she wakes up from bed time or a nap, I ask her what she dreamed about, and without fail, the answer is always something Disney-related. Sometimes she tells me she dreamed about Mickey and Minnie, and sometimes it’s about Donald and Goofy … sometimes, it’s about Disneyland. Girl has a one-track mind.

Thus, many of the gifts we are giving her this year are Disney-centric. I scoured the Disney Store website and came up with some favorites to share in case any of you have a Disney-obsessed toddler like mine.

  • "It’s a Small World" Kenya Singing Doll 1 of 12

The Small World ride at Disneyland was the first ride that Fern ever rode on her first trip to Disney, and ever since then, she has loved the song. It was one of the first songs she ever learned to sing, and we sing it every night at bed time. The "It's a Small World" collection is so cool — replicas of the dolls from the ride that sing the song in both English and their native language. I chose the Kenya doll for Fern, and hearing it sing "It's a Small World" in Swahili is just about the cutest thing ever.

  • Disney Animator’s Collection Ariel Doll 2 of 12

This doll is a Christmas gift that made the cut from Fern's list. I love all the dolls from the Disney Animator's Collection, but we went with Ariel because Fern is mildly obsessed with her. She may or may not sing "Kiss the Girl" on repeat all the time. Pretty sure this is going to be her favorite gift.

  • McQueen-O-Rama Die Cast Vehicle Set 4 of 12

12 Gifts for the Disney Obsessed Toddler

Every time I'm doing my hair and makeup, my little one begs to join in the fun. This Minnie Mouse Beauty Set would be the perfect way to help her feel included and let her primp without letting her play with my makeup.

  • Mickey Mouse Construction Accessory Set 8 of 12
12 Gifts for the Disney Obsessed Toddler

My husband is quite the do-it-yourselfer. He fixes our cars, replaced the roof on our house and is currently remodeling our kitchen and putting in new floors. Needless to say, our daughter has seen plenty of power tools in her lifetime. She's always trying to sneak the screws, nuts and bolts while he's working, and she loves playing with tool sets when we go to friends houses, so I think this Mickey Mouse tool set would be totally perfect for her.

Purchase for $20.00 from the Disney Store

  • Disney Princess Q-Tea Play Set 9 of 12
12 Gifts for the Disney Obsessed Toddler

We already have a Minnie Mouse tea set courtesy of Grandma, but if we didn't, this princess tea set would be really cute. I love how even the spoons are little Disney sidekick characters!

  • Mickey Mouse Club House Wooden Stamp Set 10 of 12
12 Gifts for the Disney Obsessed Toddler

Part of me would like to say that stamps + toddlers are a terrible idea. Obviously kids aren't so great at keeping stamps just on paper. But hey ... life's too short to avoid getting messy. If your toddler is like mine and loves art projects this would be a hit. Also a great way to sneak in some letter recognition practice.

Purchase for $19.50 from the Disney Store

  • Minnie Mouse Magnetic Dress-Up-Set – Wood 11 of 12
12 Gifts for the Disney Obsessed Toddler

My little one is starting to get really interested in doing things for herself, like most toddlers, and is anxious to start dressing herself. She's still not terribly coordinated when she makes her attempts, but she gives it a valiant effort. This Minnie Mouse dress-up set would be a fun way for her to get to play dress-up in the mean time, and I love that it's wood!

Purchase for $19.95 from the Disney Store

  • Ariel Lip Balm Set 12 of 12
12 Gifts for the Disney Obsessed Toddler

Fern is always begging me to swipe some of my lipstick on her, so I know that her love of lip products, combined with her love for the Little Mermaid would make this gift a hit and a great stocking stuffer.

Purchase for $9.95 from the Disney Store
