Golden Eagle Snatches Toddler! Or Did It . . . ? (VIDEO)

Yeah, I’m going to go ahead and take a second look at that video

A video making the rounds online is causing all kinds of a stink because it shows a big, mean Golden Eagle snatching a small, sweet toddler sitting in a park. An eagle! Snatching a child! Imagine the horror!

The video — which has surpassed 7-million views in just a day or so — looks plausible enough as the eagle swoops down, picks up (and subsequently drops) the child, and screams are heard as chaos ensues. It’s especially plausible because who, exactly, who make that kind of sick stuff up?

Apparently the sick people are Normand Archambault, Loïc Mireault and Félix Marquis-Poulin — all students at Centre NAD in Montreal who are in the production simulation workshop class of the Bachelors degree in 3D Animation and Digital Design, according to the New York Daily News. So, since this appears to be an assignment, they’re probably not so sick after all. And maybe even kind of clever? Just a little bit?

So the real question is, do they deserve an A?
