Hi, have we met? I’ve been blogging here at Babble for 19 months now.
I started a blog back in 2009 because I’m a writer and writers need to write.
Many writers prefer to have their work read by actual people, which is why they blog, since it is the most effective way to get read, if you’re not…say…J.K. Rowling.
It happened that I started my blog when I was in the deep dark hole of early motherhood. Sleep deprivation coupled with insomnia and anxiety colored that year (in addition to the incredible joys of having a baby). I was propelled to write. If you’ve visited my blog, you’ve noted the lack of fancy pictures, organization, updated information, etc. It’s really all about the words that come out of my fingers, or the path to which they get to my fingers.
I don’t consider myself a “Mommy Blogger” even if everyone else does. I consider myself a writer who writes what I know.
I very much appreciate all the people who come back to read my posts.
I’ve written other things, too. Some have nothing to do with motherhood.
While I share about motherhood on this blog and my personal blog, there is much more to me than the page views of Babble. I have been and done a lot more. Here are some little known facts about me. You’ll learn a lot about my hair and other body parts. Join me, won’t you?
