It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve!

erm.

I might be a little too enthusiastic about Christmas, no?  But this year, I’m rocking a new job that gives me more time off work, plus a two-year-old that has stars in his eyes every time we turn on the Christmas tree.  This season gives me every good reason to turn up the holly jolly on the radio & sing it loud & proud.  I’m looking forward to my day off work tomorrow, where I will be home with Harrison & planning to bake cookies.  So cliche, but something I have ached to do for years – bake cookies for Santa with my child.

Do you do anything cliche in these final days before December 25th?

Or are your kids running screaming circles around your ankles, anxious for the fat man to squeeze down the chimney?

Either way, I wish you a wonderful, sweet holiday season full of eggnog (spiked preferably for us toddler parents) & twinkle lights.  As a wee treat, please tour our humble abode through the years at Christmas with a few of my favorites:

We host Christmas Eve for family as we are the only members with littles. I received pieces of my Christmas china for every Christmas and birthday, starting when I was 16 years old.

We put him on the bar every year. I hear He liked wine as a grown-up.
