Making Healthy Breakfasts with YogurtEmily McClements
Breakfast is so important for all of us, but especially for young children. I know that if my kids miss out on healthy breakfast, or fill up on some sugar concoction that I gave them on a lazy day, things go bad. What I have found is true for me is true for them too. A healthy breakfast with protein in it makes a big difference in the rest of their day.
But, my kids don’t usually want to eat eggs every morning. Yogurt is a great way to mix protein in with good foods and find creative ways to keep kids happy. For me, yogurt is something I always keep in my fridge, and is a staple in many of our favorite breakfasts.
Here are six ideas for using yogurt to boost the protein in your breakfast recipes.
