Monday Stinks, And Now So Does My Phone.

phone in a toilet

Yeah, it was kind of like this. Only worse.

Friggin’ Mondays, man. I thought I had it all together on Sunday night. The kitchen was clean. The kids have clean clothes for the morning, okay, they’re not folded, but they’re dry…even if they’re still in the dryer. I even had time to drink a glass of wine and watch a show with my husband. Of course we went to bed a little too late…then my two sick kids woke up half a dozen times during the night. That might be a conservative estimate.

Kindly, my husband let me sleep in this morning, but I slept a little too late. So I was running around like crazy.

In the midst of the craziness, which included…

-making a coffee but not being able to drink it

-realizing the clothes were, in fact, still wet in the dryer, and now mildewed

-making a lunch and forgetting to put a spoon and a cold pack in it

-cleaning up several spills, and

-finding socks for 3 people…

…my phone ended up in the toilet.

It wasn’t the cleanest toilet either, but I’ll spare you those details.

Anyway, it looks like mama is going to get a new phone.

Sigh. I’m hoping it can only go uphill from here.

Maybe I should have taken a picture of it and sent it to sh*t my kids ruined. But instead I started crying.
