Everything is so much cuter in miniature…especially shoes and summer is quickly approaching. It’s the perfect excuse to change up your little one’s tiny shoe wardrobe. Don’t worry – these picks will satisfy your desire for tiny stylish shoes while covering all the bases of comfort and practicality for your little.
My Favorite Summer Shoes For Toddler Girls 1 of 10
From tennis shoes to sandals, I've got you covered with these picks for my favorite summer shoes for toddler girls!
Leopard Print Plimsoll 2 of 10
Tennis shoes are a practical necessity for toddlers, but instead of buying plain jane ones, why not choose some with fun patterned flair like these leopard print plimsolls? These are definitely at the top of my summer shoe wish list for Fern.

Hoy Shoe Salt-Water Sandal 3 of 10
Saltwater sandals are pretty much a rite of passage in one's childhood, so it was only obvious that Fern should have a pair of these. She has the navy pair and they go with everything. I may or may not have a matching pair.
Plaited Jelly Shoe 4 of 10
I love delicate little summer sandals as much as the next, but they just aren't the safest for little toddler feet and these are about as delicate as I'll get when it comes to toddler shoes. These are so cute and perfect for play or for dressing up with sweet little summer dresses. I want these in grownup size so Fern and I can match. Yep. I'm "that mom".

Chuck Taylor Low Top Sneakers 5 of 10
Fern will soon be outgrowing her black pair of these and I am anxious to get her a pair in white. These would be totally impractical for three of the four seasons here in Oregon (white canvas shoes + mud puddles + toddler = super ridiculous muddy mess), but they are perfect for summer and I would like to use that as an excuse to purchase these classic sneaks.

Neon Sandals 6 of 10
I adore these. A fun take on the neon trend and these shoes seem stable and comfortable with a deep foot bed - good for developing toddler feet - which is something I'm always aware of when shoe shopping for my little.

Red Canvas Tiny TOMS Mary Janes 7 of 10
I have longed for Tiny TOMS for Fern's feet ever since she was old enough to even need shoes and I LOVE this adorable Mary Jane style pair. The red is a perfect pop of color for summer and they're a little more feminine than some of the other TOMS. I intend to get Fern a pair of these soon, since TOM wearing season is so short-lived her in rainy Portland!

Striped Fabric Plimsoll 8 of 10
Fern has a pair of tennis shoes that look incredibly similar to these from H&M that she wears all the time, but they don't sell them anymore sadly. These would make a great replacement and they're actually from the boy's section (her current pair is a boy's pair as well) - I'm a sucker for stripes and the boy's section always has the best tennis shoes!

T-Strap Tennis Shoes 9 of 10
I had a pair of these when I was a kid and I loved them, so when I saw these online at H&M, I immediately headed out to the store to snatch up a pair for Fern. They're perfect play shoes, with a bit of a retro vibe that I love.

Perforated Mary-Jane Slip Ons 10 of 10
I am an avid opponent of Crocs for kids. Consider me a shoe snob if you want, but I just can't stand them (the classic version anyway...I will admit that I've actually seen some that are much cuter as of late...) and I swore I would never buy them for my own child. That said...I totally understand why people love them. They're easy. Kids can slip them on and off themselves and you can just hose them down when they get dirty. I get it. Which is why I was drawn to these croc-like slip-ons from Old Navy. I searched high and low for Fern's size, but alas, they start at size 5 (she's still a size 3). These would be perfect summer slip-ons for playing in our backyard and going to the pool though.
