My Kids are Awesome Birth Control!

A text from last night...

Last night my text message alert on my cell phone went off and when I looked at the message I couldn’t help but laugh hysterically. Honestly it was one of those piss you pants kind of laughs — it could have been bad!

One of my good friends who has yet to have one of her own children texted me telling me that reading some of my Facebook statuses just happens to be an amazing form of birth control.

I would agree!

This is in the wake of a poop-puke bug that has been circling our house since late last week. Every time I think we are all over it — it rears its ugly head in the middle of the night all over my bed. I wish I was making this one up.

The best part is that though all of this, my friends who have not yet started their families absolutely love our kids anyway. I know if I needed them in the middle of the night to help, or just answer the phone while I had a secret mom meltdown on the other end — they would be there.

But this has to be one of the most comical texts regarding my toddler and parenthood in general I have got in a while.

Well this and the pregnancy vagina text a couple weeks ago, but that clearly isn’t a post for Toddler Times!

So now it is your turn… ever get any of these hysterical motherhood text messages?
Whether they were from another mom, a childless friend… a family member… whoever!
