Easter is always such a special time of year. While I love celebrating what Easter is really all about, I also love watching my children’s faces as they light up in the morning after seeing their Easter baskets.
Growing up, my family had the tradition of having the same Easter basket year after year. My mom bought me one when I was a baby and I still have it to this day. When my girls were born, I bought them each an Easter basket that has a liner with their name on it. I love to fill it up with stuff that reminds me of my childhood as well as gifts that show the true meaning of Easter.
I am so excited to have Gilt highlight some of my top picks for Easter toys to put in those Easter baskets — from the classic, like this 23-volume Peter Rabbit children’s book library ($34), to the modern, like the pastel-hued magnetic wooden building block from Tegu ($48).
