Our Week in Instagram

A heat wave, male strippers, lots of time in the pool, and DVD gold — that is an accurate description of the week we had.
Confused yet? I know I certainly would be with a description like that!
My slideshow of Instagram pictures this week consists of more like 10 days of pictures instead of just a week. I’ve been kind of slacking behind on a picture round up.
So the slideshow kicks off with my belated birthday girls night out to see Magic Mike. Please ladies, don’t go for the plot — you will be disappointed. That being said, it was great to get out and go to the movies for the first time in years.
We spent a lot of time in the pool and I have a feeling we are going to be doing the same this week because of the heat wave we have coming through. I love the summer, but hate the humidity! I am sure I am not the only one out there.
Over the next few weeks life is going to be crazy! I hope to take as many pictures as I did the past couple of weeks!

Magic Mike!
Yes, like a butt load of moms all over the country, I headed out to see Magic Mike with two of my girlfriends. It was the first time I had been to the movies in ... almost 4 years. It was refreshing to have a girls night out!

Loopsy Love!
Addie got her first La La Loopsy Little Brother. I have eyed him a couple times in the store and finally broke down and added him to our collection of Loopsy Littles.

Big Girl Brush
Addison's hair has been getting seriously out of control. In an attempt to work on that issue I got her a new brush. A matching brush to the one I use. Here is to hoping the brush helps!

Sleeping Beauty
I rarely get pictures of Addie sleeping anymore because of course her sleep is pretty much non-existent.

Fortune
We rarely get Chinese take out because my husband isn't a big fan. One night during the week he wasn't having dinner with us so I decided to take advantage of it. This was my fortune. Yes, I am corny and believe in these things.

Cool Pool Party
Well, it wasn't really a party but we went to Grandma's house a couple times this week to go swimming. It has just been too hot to hang out home. Plus it is no fun to stay in the house all day!

My Little Fish
Ben (3) is getting better and better every time we hit the pool. At first he wouldn't let anyone let go of him... now he is learning the doggie paddle all on his own.

The Baby Pool
Addie doesn't really care for being in the big pool because she thinks she can swim all on her own already. She tries to lunge right out of anyone's arms. So she has her own little personal pool. Sometimes Grandma even gets i with her.

Sibling Love
It always melts my heart how much my oldest son is in love with his little sister.

Her Pool
Another picture of Addie in her pool. She isn't really a fan of sitting down in it. Although she isn't a fan of sitting down at all since she started walking.

Pig Tails
Addie's hair is officially long enough to put into pig tails. I have died and gone to mom-of-little-girl heaven!

Follow That Bird
I love it when I am going through Target and find one of my favorite childhood movies on the $5 movie rack. It is even better when your kids love it as well. Two big thumbs up Sesame Street!

Back Yard Playtime!
The kids have really been enjoying the summer in the back yard. Just another picture of Addie running around.

Zombie Walk
Addie may or may not look like a Zombie when she walks. Oh the joys of a newly walking toddler!

Swing Swing
She thinks she is lounging in a cabana ... not sitting in a swing!
