My family has spent the last 12 days on a whirlwind of a road trip. We have visited 9 states and Washington DC. And let me tell you, Tate has been a rock star. He has napped, played with toys, looked out the windows, snacked (a lot), and thoroughly enjoyed our off key musical renditions of “Old McDonald Had a Farm.”
One of my concerns setting out on our trip was diaper changes. I hated the idea of Tate sitting in a dirty diaper for too long between stops. Luckily, Tate has figured out going number two in his diaper while sitting in his car seat is no way to live, but I was still worried about leaving him in wet diapers longer than usual. That’s why we started using our Huggies Overnite diapers on the road.
They are more absorbent than the average diaper, which helps keep Tate more comfortable and dry between changes. So even though we are leaving them on for no longer than three hours at I time, I have a little peace of mind that his diapers are making him uncomfortable.
How do you handle diapering on long car trips?
