Sleeping With a Toddler is Like…

By Danielle |

Sharing your bed with a toddler!

If your house is anything like mine, you frequently have a toddler in your bed.

Whether it is nap time, bed time… or in the middle of the night. One, two or all the kids end up curling up in our bed and we are losing room. Recently when one of our boys headed to Grandma’s house for a sleep over she complained about how much he travels in his sleep.  Yup! Like he is on a mission to kick you out of your own bed!

Last week I thought I would see what my readers thought about sleeping with toddlers…

I proposed the question, sleeping with a toddler is like…  and let everyone fill in the blank, and like always the readers did not disappoint!

I put in a couple of my own, because each of my children have been very different when it came to sharing a bed with them. They all have their own quirks for kicking me out of my own bed and making me want to sleep in a toddler bed or on the couch in the middle of the night.

Head to the kidney at three in the morning. Sound familiar? This is what it is like sleeping with any of my kids. An Olympic event at the very least!
