Summer Reading for Moms

What is on your summer reading list?

Since my kiddos are in school this year, we have taken on the summer reading challenge in our house. It is something I remember bitching about as a kid because I would rather be swimming all day long in the summer, not sitting down with a book that I would have to record on a sheet and report back to school with in September.

But with the new summer reading love in our house, it has brought my own inner book worm out and I am on a mission alongside my own children this summer to get my reading on!

I never took the time to see how many awesome books there are you can read!

Having an e-reader also doesn’t hurt!

I put together this list which is a great mix of books I love that I have already read, books on my to-read list, and of course suggestions from the readers.

If you have any books you would like to include on this list be sure to comment below!

  • ‘My Two Moms: Lessons of Love, Strength, and What Makes a Family’ 1 of 17
'My Two Moms: Lessons of Love, Strength, and What Makes a Family'
Remember a couple months back a video went viral of a young man speaking about his luck in having two mothers? He wrote an amazing book about same sex marriage and what really makes a family. Highly recommended by several of the readers on my fan page. I have added it onto my own reading list for the summer!

'The Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy'
I have to admit at first I was not buying into the whole Fifty Shades of Grey hype. But after having the books for two months I finally picked them up and read them all in four days. It has to be one of the best love stories I have ever read and if you are looking for a little summer excitement I highly suggest picking up the trilogy!
