The first time my toddler went on a field trip with his preschool I was unable to attend. OMG, it killed me not to chaparone because my nervous mommy instincts quite honestly didn’t trust my curious toddler. Of course I trusted my son’s daycare but what if? WHAT IF? What if he got lost, stolen, distracted, rebellious? My heart sank a little deeper with each “what if” scenario.
I took to the internet to check out child identification options and wow, was I impressed with what I found!
Here are a few of my absolute favorite Child I.D. options:
Where to shop:
Vital ID wristbands: Child Safety ID bracelet – comfortable, durable & attractive.
Who’s Shoes ID: A discreet, unique form of personal identification.
These child identification options are wonderful for field trips, amusement parks or really, anywhere! If your toddler will no longer be confined to a stroller or child safety leash, this is the way to go! Of course nothing replaces parental vigilance but child identification is an additional safety precaution we can all use.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children offers resources for Parents and Guardians and Childcare Providers to help keep our children safe. They also provide valuable information regarding Child Identification and Child Safety.
Make safety a priority in your family!
