The 7 Steps to Real Estate

By Beth Anne Ballance |

Hi, folks!  Guess what we did this week?

We bought a house!  After 10 houses in one night, we found a great deal that we adore with a huge backyard for Harrison.

If you remember, we went back and forth on whether or not to buy or rent — in the end, we decided that getting a house for a great deal (it was an empty past rental) when interest rates were at an all-time low made it hard to say “no” to signing our name on the dotted line again.

Although it initially didn’t hold the OMG! factor that buying our first house did, we’re starting to get really excited.  Here’s how the buy process went:

Buying a House with a Toddler in Mind

Go see house for the third time.

Spend two hours discussing the backyard, then sit down & make yourself comfy in the foyer with your realtor & family. Chat long enough & it will feel like home.

I seriously love this! I have SO enjoyed going on this journey with you…. creepy? Probably, but that’s ok! It’s 11pm and I have to be at my sister’s at 7am tomorrow. Anyway, love the pillow, love the blue teeth. So exciting!

Our house was a short sale, so it was almost all waiting! Congratulations!
