Thirsty Toddler Meme: For All I Do, This Bud's for YOU? No Fair!

The waiting is the hardest part.

It’s no secret that plenty of parents of toddlers count the seconds until their end-of-the-day cocktail(s). Parenting toddlers is the best thing ever. It’s also the thing that can drive you to drink — early and often — like nothing else.

But who’s to say life is necessarily easier for the toddlers? That tantrum in the produce aisle of the supermarket can tax their nerves, too. And trying to get them to share as if the fate of the world depended on it? It’s enough to drive anyone under 4 to drink.

Here’s one toddler who thinks about beer maybe a little too often:

    But who's counting?

Always has been, always will be.

I say "High", you say "Low".
    You say "Why?"
    And I say "I don't know".
    Oh no.

Go ahead and pass that glass over here and we'll get this contest started.

    How does it feel
    To be on your own?

Or one bourbon, one scotch and one beer.

Or is that sharing thing a one-way street?

    Nice. Real nice.

Don't think I'm not going to take this out on you at bedtime.

    Bottoms up.
