Halloween is one of the best times of the year to have young children, because let’s face it: candy. But there’s also the fun of deciding on a costume befitting our little ones and all of the excitement surrounding trick or treat.
We usually head out as a family while Grandma covers the trick-or-treaters back at home. When my toddler gets tired of walking the two of us return home to pass out candy while my husband takes the boys to all of the neighborhood hot spots (read: residences passing out entire candy bars, not the “fun sized” ones I buy).
What makes it especially fun for my kids is using the same trick or treat bags year after year. They’re nothing fancy but it’s become a sort of Halloween tradition for them.
I’ve rounded up 12 bags in various price ranges that are all toddler friendly. Which one is your favorite?
Does your family have special trick-or-treat bags? Tell me about them in the comments!
