Toddlers & Tiara's Go-Go Juice? (Video)

What is in that??

“Holla for a dolla honey, boo-boo.”

If I ever heard my toddler say that, I would probably keel over and die right then and there. Instead the self-titled “Coupon Queen” on the television program Toddlers & Tiaras, laughed and cheered her toddler.

But does the behavior itself come from the kids just being kids, or does it come from being hopped up, or as some called it doped up, on “go-go juice” for energy while competing in these pageants?

I came across this clip from the controversial show last week, and was completely appalled at the actions of the child and the mother featured. But mostly by the actions of the parent.

Now what is inside go-go juice may be a mystery — but after the mother herself explained that fifteen bags, yes 15 bags of pixie stix did not work to keep her daughter pumped up enough for a pageant, you can only wonder what the hell is in that drink! (Coincidentally, it’s stored in an unmarked bottle.)

Pageant contender Alana and her mother Coupon Queen, real name June, tell viewers:

“A lot of pageant moms and people know what the ‘special juice’ is, everybody has their different concoctions”.

Some online gossip sites speculate that go-go juice could be a type of Mountain Dew soda from the appearance of the bottle itself. But if a mother will provide her daughter 15 bags of pixie sticks, I doubt the mystery energy drink is simply mountain dew.

I can only wonder how many more families like this will be featured before TLC does the right thing and pulls this show from its line-up. It is clear that the parents being featured are not playing with a full deck and they’re not truly concerned with the well-being of their extremely young children.

Take a look at the clip yourself!
