I don’t buy new clothes for myself often. It’s a combination of my green side that wants to make use of what I already have, my frugal side that wants to save money, and that it is so annoying to shop with kids.
But a couple weeks ago I went and got a few new things for myself for the fall, and one morning I put on one of my new shirts and was making breakfast when my son walked into the kitchen and said…

Now, you know you’ve been wearing the same boring old stuff over and over again when your two-year-old recognizes that you have a new shirt on!
