Epcot Flower & Garden Festival 2013 ~ The Photo Tour

March, April and May are my favorite months for visiting Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Why? For one, the weather is perfect and secondly it just happens to be the time when Epcot throws their Flower and Garden festival!

The 20th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, presented by HGTV commenced on March 6th and will continue through May 19, 2013 at Walt Disney World. Stunning topiary and floral presentations can be found throughout the resort, however the festival is located at Epcot. As soon as you enter the theme park you are greeted with the new Fab Five Disney character topiary where floral versions of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck play out a cookout scene. It’s really something! In addition, they’ve added The Land of Oz Garden based on the new Disney film! Kids can play in the interactive children’s play zone and enjoy the amazing photo opps.

If you have plans on visiting in the next few weeks, you can look forward to over 100 topiaries, 225 floating mini-gardens, loads of flower beds, dozens of flower towers and stunning landscapes. I just returned from a trip to Walt Disney World and wanted to give you all a first-hand look at the festival and the stunning topiaries. Just gorgeous!

If you've never been to the butterfly house, you are in for a real treat! Tinkerbell and the other fairy topiaries are not the main attraction, in fact it's the butterflies that fly around the garden and land on guests that draw the most attention.
