Military Travel Deals in Honor of Veteran's DayNadia Carriere
In honor of our military both in the U.S. and Canada (where I live), we thought it would be helpful to put together a list of the best military deals and discounts around. First of all, if you serve or have served in the United States or Canadian military, we thank you. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your service to our country and for the sacrifice and dedication you demonstrate each and every day. Here in Canada, we are celebrating Remembrance Day, while in the United States, Veteran’s Day is in observance.
My grandmother taught me to have respect for the military at a very young age. Every November 11th, she would have us stand silently in memory of the lives lost and to thank those who still serve our country. She was very adamant about it, and it was a tradition that’s stuck with me to this day.
The military’s service does not go unnoticed and there are plenty of hotels and chains that offer discounts to help cut the cost of travel. Whether it be to visit loved ones during the holidays, or as a stopover during your journeys, click through for the best military travel deals around!
