Back in 2008, my family and I went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party in Disney World and we all agreed it was one of the best nights of our lives, and it has yet to be outdone. Traveling to a Disney park during the holiday season has never been on our to-do list, but it has always been on my wish list … so when I had the chance to make a quick trip to Disneyland last week, I took it without hesitation. (And when I say quick, I mean quick! I spent less than 6 hours in the park.)
I just wanted to experience it: the lights, the smells, the sounds — and it was everything I could have ever dreamed of. Not only was the castle covered in decorations and “snow,” but, at night it lit up better than any Christmas tree I have ever seen. It even “snowed” twice on Main Street. IT SNOWED ON CUE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. From the holly berry on my Minnie ears, to the ever-changing decorations, Disneyland at Christmas time is even more magical than it is throughout the year!
Check out my Christmas adventure at Disneyland and see how I spent my day wandering around, taking in the spirt and sights of the most magical place on Earth:
