PARIS – Bonjour, Baby!

Did you know Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, is one-fifth the size of the entire city of Paris?

Did you know Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, is one-fifth the size of the entire city of Paris? It seems more people visit Paris (about 46 million annually) than any other city in the world.  And let’s face it: many of those visitors are kids.  For all its style and sophistication, Paris will always be a winner for children of all ages because of its hidden paths, city gardens, and gruesome gargoyles to its majestic monuments.Surprisingly you can do most of Paris on foot, but here are a few child-friendly and all-time favorite diversions the whole family can enjoy.

1.  Disneyland, Paris. Did you know Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, is one-fifth the size of the entire city of Paris? And the lure of Disney is unavoidable for some when visiting Paris. To take the time to go or not to go to is a hard decision to make for just about any family. Alternative route: Check out the Disneyland Paris store on the Champs-Elysees and select a few all-time favorites, then head straight over to a Parisian child-friendly park, and play for hours.

Wooden boats can be rented on any given Wednesdays weekend and/or school holidays

2. Sailboats. Wooden boats can be rented on any given Wednesdays weekend and/or school holidays. Be advised: The sailboats are not battery-operated; they are actually called toy schooners that sail across the ponds with just the push of stick.

3. Jardin du Luxemborg is one of the most popular city parks in Paris. Kids can become easily distracted here with its 56-acres of formal gardens, playgrounds, puppet shows, carousel, sandboxes, toy sailboats, ponies, a lake with ducks to feed, the options for fun are endless here.

4. Just about any café in town can be enjoyable but we like Les Deux Magots because of the their appealing terrace location, as well as an exceptional view of the church of Saint-Germain-des-Pres, the oldest church in Paris. Best bet: The kids can color on the house placemats and take them back home as souvenirs. And this is why so many people visit Paris than any other city in the world, the possibilities are endless when it comes to kid entertainment.

Paris will always be a winner for adults and kids, hands down.
