Pioneertown: Visit the Old West in California

While you’re headed out to Palm Springs, take a turn off the 10 freeway towards Yucca Valley to check out this one-of-a-kind place, Pioneertown. What was once a movie set for films such as The Cisco Kid, Pioneertown is now turning into a music hot spot for traveling bands looking to perform and record. Take a walk down Mane Street to see the old west shops, saloons, and enjoy a BBQ dinner at Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace. If one day isn’t quite enough, stay a night at the Pioneertown Motel.
