Reach Out Your Bedroom Window & Pet A Giraffe At The Giraffe Manor

giraffeAccommodations are one of the biggest part of a travel experience regardless of destination. We’ve stayed in many different hotels and resorts but I can assure you I’ve never seen anything quite like this. Imagine waking up in the morning, opening up your bedroom window and reaching out to pet a…giraffe. Or perhaps you would rather dine with them in the sun room, where they are free to show their love during your meal.

The Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Africa is built on 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest. This stunning boutique hotel was built in the 1930’s and offers you an experience like no other with 10 luxury double ensuite bedrooms (2 suites suitable for families), fine dining and access to the rare Rothschild Giraffe. You can opt to eat your meals in the manor’s dining room or dine under the stars at your own private table. Breakfast is served in the manor’s sun room which is outfitted with massive windows that open up allowing the giraffes to join you or perhaps give you a kiss.

In addition to their luxury accommodations, the Giraffe Manor is also home to dik dik, warthogs, bushbuck and 180 different species of birds. Click through for more details on this incredible establishment. I’ve already added it to our bucket list!
