Interactive and immersive learning are just two of the many perks of family travel. There is nothing like experiencing history by visiting the actual sites, artifacts and learning through interactive displays – it’s learning at its finest!
The new Benjamin Franklin Museum will be opening its doors this Saturday (August 24) and visitors will be able to discover all aspects of Franklin’s life as a private citizen and a look at his role as a diplomat and statesman, inventor, philosopher and more. This underground museum was built next to the actual site where Benjamin Franklin lived in the mid 1700s. It’s received a major overhaul since it was originally built for the 1976 Bicentennial celebration and filled with interactive displays, personal artifacts and much more.
You won’t find another museum in the world that is dedicated to one of our Founding Fathers. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
Will you be visiting the new Benjamin Franklin Museum?
