Potter fans are about to get an even larger dose of their favourite literary character. Universal Orlando Resort announced last week that they will be expanding the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in what is said to be the world’s first centrally themed, multi-park experience, the new area will immerse guests into Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. Diagon Alley and ‘London’ will be built adjacent to Universal Islands of Adventure theme park and like the books, you’ll be able to travel between ‘London’ and Hogsmeade aboard the Hogwarts Express.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter originally opened up in June 2010 as a fully immersive Harry Potter themed environment and as can be imagined it completely took off. The attraction is on my list for the future after my girls have had a chance to read the book series and appreciate the characters within the pages.
