Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort Is Now Open! Details On The New HotelNadia Carriere
Last year, we dished on a brand new resort that was to be welcomed on-site at Universal Orlando. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort opened last week, welcoming their very first guests. With its retro decor and classic feel, Cabana Bay is now the fourth hotel at Universal Orlando. The decor was inspired from the 1950s and 60’s and you’ll notice many nods to the past with the retro-inspired architecture and bright colours.
What makes this resort so fabulous for families is its large suites. The family suites sleep up to six people and include a fold-out foam bed, kitchenette, a sliding partition for privacy, two flat-screen TVs and a bathroom. Those who stay at Cabana Bay will be provided with some special perks and exclusive benefits that are only available to those who stay on property at Universal Orlando. Some of those perks include only Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter one hour before the park opens.
What else can you find on-site?
-A 10-lane bowling alley
-Physical fitness studio
-The crazy dive tower water slide, leading into a 10,000 square foot zero-entry pool in the Cabana Courtyard
-Family diner and food court with fast, yet delicious eats
In addition, the property will be welcoming another pool measuring 8,000 square feet as well as Universal Orlando’s first lazy river. Another restaurant will also be opening.
