Universal’s New Cabana Bay Beach Resort To Open In 2014

Cabana Bay Beach Resort South Courtyard-LRHave you heard the latest? Universal Orlando Resort will be welcoming a brand new hotel in 2014. Cabana Bay Beach Resort is the latest addition to the Universal family and will be home to 1800 value priced guest rooms as well as family suites in the mid price range.

As a fan of anything “retro” I’m especially excited about this resort! It has been especially designed to evoke the feeling of beach resorts from the ’50′s and ’60′s with bold designs, period colors and neon touches. There will be two pool complexes with a sandy beach as well as interactive additions like a 10-lane retro bowling alley and themed lazy river experience.

The hotel will be just a short walk to Universal Orlando’s theme parks and Universal CityWalk. The hotel is scheduled to open in early 2014 with the North Courtyard opening March 31, 2014 and the South Courtyard late 2014.

Interested? Reservations now being accepted for stays beginning on March 31, 2014 through Universal Orlando.
