Sugary white sandy beaches, turquoise crystal waters and a relaxed vibe that sets the tone for your vacation the minute you step off the plane. How can you find all this? By visiting one of the most beautiful beaches in the world on an island that is dream-worthy.
Grace Bay Beach in Turks & Caicos. Offering 19 kilometers of white powdery sand and the calmest and cleanest beach you’ll ever see, Provos offers world class accommodations and dining options for every traveler. A couple of months ago, I was invited by The Somerset to experience the resort and the island. Having been to Turks & Caicos in the past, I was familiar with the beach but had yet to venture out past our resort.
Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos is my favorite beach that I’ve been to thus far, however after my trip I discovered new beaches, attractions and restaurants that made my trip even more blissful. If you’re thinking of visiting Turks & Caicos, here are my tips on visiting this island of paradise.

Get your iPhone or camera ready! As you come in for a landing, you'll experience some of the most amaziing views and vivid colors. Turks & Caicos is simply stunning.
Where To Stay 2 of 15
The Somerset is located on Grace Bay Beach and is one of the best places you can stay on the island. They have two pools; one zero-edge infinity pool and the longest lap pool on the island. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, The Somerset offers it in spades.
Why It’s So Great For Families 3 of 15
The villas here offer all of the comforts of home - and more! The 2 and 3 bedroom villas at The Somerset are suitable for larger families and they offer garden and ocean-view units. The largest sleeps 12, making this a great choice for multi-generational families. Next door to The Somerset is The Regent Palms Spa, one of the best spas in the entire Caribbean. Need I say more?
Visiting Grace Bay 5 of 15
Grace Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and for good reason. The white powdery sand stretches out for miles and the turquoise waters are oh so calm. It's a great beach for kids!

The Somerset will set up a private dinner on the beach for you and let me tell you, it's a must-experience. There is something incredible about dining on the shores of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world while watching the sun set into the ocean. A wonderful experience everyone should put on their bucket list!

Where To Find The Best Conch 9 of 15
Conch is a staple here on the island. It's caught fresh from the ocean and can be made in an assortment of different ways. Bugaloo's Conch Crawl is hands-down the best place to get conch. You can look out to ocean while you eat or head around the corner to learn all about conch and how they catch and prepare it.
Where To Find The Best Ice Cream 10 of 15
The Patty Place in Providenciales serves THE best ice cream on the island. Trust me on this one!
Off The Beaten Path 11 of 15
The Potcake Place is a dog rescue charity based in Providenciales. The dogs here are so warm and friendly, it's as if they have the Caribbean spirit themselves. Each one of these dogs is free to a good home and the foundation runs on donations. You can even take one of the dogs out for the day or take them to the beach. They love to be cuddled and I came *this* close to taking one home myself. Be prepared to fall in love!
Long Bay Beach 12 of 15
Long Bay Beach is another great choice located on Providenciales. The snorkeling here is excellent and the waters are even calmer than Grace Bay. It's a quiet beach and there are quite a few trees that provide shady areas to rest. This one is a good choice for tots and babies as the waters are so still. Breathtaking scenery too!
Taking The Kids To The Conch Farm 13 of 15
Did you know conch start off as itty bitty shells and grow into the large pink shells we all know and love? Learn all about conch and how they develop at the Caicos Conch Farm. Tours are provided throughout the day and you are given a one-on-one look at life cycle of the Caribbean Queen Conch.
National Environmental Centre 14 of 15
Located on Lower Bight Road in Providenciales, is the National Environmental Centre. There aren't many signs to clearly mark this area, so keep your eyes peeled. The centre is open daily and has small exhibits on the island's local bush, fauna, flora and wildlife. There are a few fun interactive exhibits for young children too.
A Warning 15 of 15
Warning: you won't want to come home. This I promise you! Turks & Caicos is the single most beautiful Caribbean island I've ever visited and you should too!
