Organic produce and dairy products are being heavily promoted to help keep people healthy. Eating organic can help you avoid pesticides and other chemically-processed foods. Many people dismiss purchasing organic products because they are often more expensive than the other produce at the supermarket but now you don’t have to!

  • Find the Farmers 2 of 6

    Many communities sponsor farmers markets each week where farmers bring their seasonal haul to consumers. Farmers markets are a great way to see what local produce is available in your own community. You can find many stands promote organic fruits and vegetables. Farmers markets may also be the right place to get organic meats and dairy products fresh off the farm.

    At your local grocery store find out about the loyalty card programs being offered. These cards can help you save on the products you buy in the store and may even help you save at the gas pumps outside of the store. Check out the weekly sales fliers and identify the days when organic products go on sale for card carriers. Many food companies specializing in organic products will feature downloadable coupons for extra saving to bring in new customers.
