There’s nothing I hate more than having to get rid of food. Such a huge chunk of change goes toward food costs every month that throwing away food get’s the Most Cringe-Worthy Award, at least in my book.

Bread is a perishable product that sometimes can go stale before you can use it all. Luckily, stale bread has other purposes besides being added to the compost pile.

    Stale bread can be crumbled up and added to your birdfeeders or backyard, especially in the winter time when birds have to battle the snow to keep fed. You can also bag up stale bread and head to the local park with the kids to feed the ducks.
