10 Styles I Miss From the East Coast

It’s easy to get the grass is greener complex when comparing coast to coast styles, thankfully most trends span the nation but there are a few that are unique to each coast and to the weather there! Here are 10 styles I miss from the East Coast. What east coast styles do you miss?

    East Coast practically invented the American Preppy look. Every year when school comes around in the fall I become a little nostalgic for preppy pieces like blazers and cardigans.

    East coast weather permits more layering of textures. I love that this woman is wearing silk, wool, suede, and jean all accompanied by a great woven leather bag.

    New Yorkers have mastered bundling up in style. I love the coat on coat look accented with fur and a cap. There aren't too many places on the west coast you could get away with wearing that many layers.

    East coast makeup seems to be very minimal with the highlight being a red lip. A classic look that I carried with me here to the west coast.
