12 Crazy Cool ‘Breaking Bad’ Halloween Costumes

Listen, whether you want to admit it or not, after you’re married a while, maybe have a couple kids and the ‘honeymoon phase’ of indescribable feelings and impromptu passion that you once knew wanes and withers a bit on the old vine of life, you begin to search for new and interesting things about your partner to keep you interested.

My wife and I have been married over nine years now, and we zipped through that early stage of bliss at 189 mph and so it was a all a big sweaty, beautiful blur.

But then.

I mean, after the first six weeks wore off…ummmm.

Look, we still love each other and all, but…but…

Oh hell, let me just say it!

We have replaced lust and romance and all of that jazz with marathon sessions of incredible 21st century cable TV drama series on untouchable Blu-Ray!!

That’s right!

Call us ‘couch potatoes’. Call us fuddy-duddys. Call us boring and uninspired and uncultured celibate bumps on a log, because WE. DON’T. CARE. YO.

The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Dexter, The Walking Dead, the list goes on and on of all the powerful shows we have watched together, side-by-side, the two of us separated only by our chip bowl and nine feet of sofa leather.

Has it been the greatest part of our lives? Not really. No. But it has been really great.

And so when we first started watching Breaking Bad a few weeks ago, after everyone else on Earth was just about done with it, we kind of knew we were crashing the party pretty late. But, my oh my, how we have fallen in love with yet another monument to storytelling greatness.

Anyway. With October 31st right around the corner, I went snooping around the Google trying to see if anyone had come up with any really cool, clever Breaking Bad Halloween costumes.

  • Baby Blue 1 of 12

If you're going to dress up like Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, why not grab a third friend to be the 'contraband'?! I'm guessing these three will probably be the kingpins at every single Halloween party they hit up.

  • Little Walt 2 of 12

Okay, I'm not sure this kid is even old enough to watch the show, really. Heck, even I'm scared at some of the crazy stuff they show. But he does happen to have a very cool Los Pollos Hermanos trick-or-treat bag, so I am guessing that he is indeed a super-fan.

  • Big Mix 3 of 12

What do you get when you let Saul, Jesse, Walter, and Walt Jr. hang out together? You get first prize in any costume contest you even come close to.

Have you ever seen a pug dressed up like Walter White? No? Well, now you have. And you are a better person for it, too.

  • Walt World 5 of 12

I have no idea what the heck is going on in this picture. But I can tell you this. These guys are a Breaking Bad/Walter White tour-de-force of power costumes and if you happen to see them heading into a Halloween party before you, you might as well just turn around and go home because your costume is just going to look silly now.

Do you see this?! Do you see the little Jesse and the tiny Walt? Is this one of the greatest Halloween duos of all time or what?!

If you haven't seen the show yet, I won't spoil anything for you here. But for those of you who have, is this not one of the coolest costumes you could possibly imagine?

I like how these three almost seem to be just three dudes hanging out. And then, slowly, it sneaks up on you that they look familiar somehow. And then it hits you.

  • Jesse as Walt 11 of 12

Actor Aaron Paul who plays Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, dresses up like his friend/mentor, Walter White. Hard to beat that combo, huh?

Of course, if you are the star of Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston, and you take a night off from playing Walter White to dress up like Jesse Pinkman instead, well,... you pretty much win Halloween. Thanks for looking!
