Great for the Whole Family

How many toys are ideal for an entire family? Brooklyn would love a Barbie doll. My 18-year-old son? Notsomuch. Jackson would love a football. My little girls? Notsomuch. There aren’t many items I can think of that an entire family, with ages between 6 and 42, would like. But my whole family enjoys the Xbox 360 + Kinect. With such a huge variety of games available, there’s something for the whole family. And I’m just talking about the video games here, not all the other features like watching movies and browsing the web. The variety of games alone make this an ideal gift for a family with members of any age.

We all have our favorite games in my family. Austin’s pick is Assassin’s Creed. Savannah likes Just Dance. Man, that girl can dance! I like playing that one too even though I’m well aware I look like an idiot swatting at bees while having severe muscle cramps when I play. My sports-loving son, Jackson’s fave is Madden. I swear, every time he plays that game, I think he’s watching an actual football game. It’s so realistic! The little kids like Lego Star Wars, Plants vs. Zombies, and Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure. And me? Well, I can’t decide which one is my favorite. I like killing zombies even though I totally suck at it. I like playing Kinect Rush and Kinect Sports with the little kids. (I’m an amazing baseball player in Xbox world. In real life, however? Notsomuch.) Those would be perfect games if we were still living in Chicagoland because they get everyone up and moving when it’s too cold to play outside (which is basically from November – May). Here in Florida, they’re ideal for May – September when it’s ninety-burning-eight degrees with the humidity of a lake outside.

Not only are there a wide variety of games for Xbox 360, but you can also watch movies, tv shows and sports, listen to music, and browse the web all from the comfort of your living room. It’s not just a video game player, but an entire entertainment center. So how would your family use the Xbox 360?
