Letting your inner child come out and play with “The Lorax”Anissa Mayhew
I was lucky enough to be able to attend Blissdom and “The Lorax” party that took place there. It’s hard to explain the fun of friends and music if you aren’t there to enjoy it for yourself. But I can tell you how fun it was to reach down and let my inner child come out and play.
She frolicked among the balloons and celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss, who brought imagination to life. My inner child giggled when she got to have her picture taken with the Lorax. She ooohed in the splendor of real-live plantable trees and the the joy of carefree laughs with friends.
“The Lorax” movie is something my kids are looking forward to, but the memories of the Lorax party will always be with me.
Some of these pics are ridiculously blurry. I won’t say why.
There might have been potatoes involved.
