Party Ideas: Black and White

I can’t help it. I LOVE black and white so much. And no matter what the holiday or occasion, I find a way to use it as part of the color palette. My Halloween decor pretty much consisted of black and white, and the last few parties I hosted had black and white stuck in them every which way.

I’ve been seeing a lot of other awesome party ideas with black and white as their base, so I thought I’d share the black and white love!

  • Black, White & Gold 1 of 8

So perfect! I love the few pops of gold.

  • Yellow and Pink Never Stink 2 of 8

For my daughter's 3rd birthday party I used black and white as neutrals to tone down the pink and yellow decor. It made buying party accessories a no-brainer.

  • Taste the Rainbow 3 of 8

These gum balls are the cutest drink stirrers, but they'd also be a great color palate to follow for your next party. Pair the rainbow with bold black and white stripes, and you can't mess it up.

  • Black & White with Pink 4 of 8

I love the touches of pink and silver with this b&w party. This is a little less formal but just as elegant!

  • Black and White for a Baby Boy! 5 of 8

I'm LOVING how these party throwers used black and white for a baby shower! There's a TINY touch of blue in there and I love that paired with the gold triangles.

  • Dots, stripes and spots! 6 of 8

This is one of my most favorite party pictures of all time. Is that odd? Haha, not that it's THIS picture, but that I have a favorite party picture? Anyway, I love the pink, purple and gold paired with black and white for this sophisticated fete.

  • Get WILD 7 of 8

To celebrate the birth of my son and his blessing day at our church, I used a wild animal theme with black and white as accents. Yes, his name is Rad.

  • Teal has Appeal 8 of 8

For my daughter's 2nd birthday party, I used teal to add some pop to my black and white palate. Like I said, I use a lot of black and white!
