The Most Lalaloopsy-ful Time Of The Year: A Holiday Target GiveawayTracey Gaughran
Back when my now tween-age daughter was a bit younger, she loved dolls. Always a staple of holiday gift-giving, our household now holds a gargantuan surplus of every imaginable variety of them, shoved away in abandoned toy boxes and closets. (Which reminds me, I really need to make a trip to Goodwill soon… think they accept donations of the tractor-trailer-sized variety without a heads-up beforehand, ehh?)
But now that she’s ten years old, her taste in playthings has, well… changed slightly.
What hasn’t changed over the years, however, is my daughter’s essential nature, which is empathetic, self-aware, and highly sensitive to others. She’s always been very conscious of how lucky she is to be a kid who almost invariably gets exactly what she wants for Christmas, and never has to want for anything throughout the rest of the year. Which is why it came as no surprise to me that when we received an adorable Lalaloopsy doll – the Rosy Bumps ‘n’ Bruises one, to be specific – she asked if it was something we could give away to a less fortunate child, a kid who might not be as lucky as she is this holiday season.
That’s my girl. (*sniff!*)
And now, thanks to the generosity of Target, I’m giving away another cute-as-a-button Lalaloopsy doll right here, right now! So if you know a girl who’d love this, know of a family in need, or would like a toy to donate to the charity of your choice this holiday season, here’s your chance to snag one of your very own.
