Three Reasons Preserving Family Photos is ImportantAlli Worthington

Whether you’re like me and taking photos is akin to breathing (Read: HAVE. TO. DO. IT.) or you only bring out your camera once in a while, I’ll bet a big percentage of your photos are of your friends and family.
That’s because photography and loved ones go hand-in-hand…without even thinking about it, we just naturally want to preserve those memories.
And that’s a good thing, because those family photos are treasures! Why? Let’s discuss!
With photographs you can relive memories together.
Whether looking in a viewfinder immediately after snapping to giggle in the moment, or decades later in an album to remember events from long-ago…nothing brings back the past like photograph.
Photographs allow you to share your days with long-distance family and friends. Grandma and Grandpa live a few states over? College friends across the globe? Or perhaps you’re traveling for work, the family is back home, and you’d like them to see your killer view. Photography to the rescue!
Photographs allow you to document the everyday. This is it in a nutshell. Capture the moment, seize the memory, document, document, document. Don’t wait for a birthday or special event…start snapping what’s going on around you. Those little hands won’t be little forever, you know.
So take those photos…and then save them, organize them, back them up (and then maybe back them up again). They are a treasure.
One way to save some of those memories is with Wendy’s new scrapbooking app. Great to share those memories as well…and relive them in the future.
