Wild West Cowboy Themed Birthday Party

Ever watchful for unique and fun celebrations, I stumbled across this perfectly adorable cowboy themed birthday party, thrown for a couple of cowhand brothers, and instantly I wanted to share. A Western theme seems like it would be a pretty easy one to pull together, especially in the summertime! Have a look through the gallery below for plenty of good ideas to get you going in the right direction.

  • Cowboy Mustache 1 of 15

Cowboys and mustaches go together like mac and cheese, right? So you absolutely should have some at a cowboy themed party. Check out that clever display too!

  • Invitation Round-Up 2 of 15

"Yay or Neigh", so funny! These invitations are perfect!

  • The Setup 3 of 15

Scattering straw on the floor of this backyard pavilion helps set the stage for some good vittles and fixins'!

  • Cardboard Village 4 of 15

How awesome is this cardboard Wild West town? I'm sure it was the hit of the party and good for hours and hours of fun.

  • Root Beer Float Station 5 of 15

Of course you'd serve root beer floats at a cowboy party, makes perfect sense. Having a DIY station ensures each guest can achieve their perfect ice cream to root beer ratio, which is clutch if you ask me.

  • Table Display 6 of 15

Such a cute cowboy table display. The burlap tablecloth is an excellent touch and I love the wildflowers too.

  • Cowboy Crunch 7 of 15

A popcorn station, low maintenance and always a hit!

  • Decor Details 8 of 15

Lanterns, birthday boy initials, and a vintage cowboy doll make up a few of the great details on this Wild West party.

  • More Details 9 of 15

Using an old distressed table as a serving spot for the chili station was an excellent idea! Don't forget your mustache either.

  • Chili 10 of 15

Cowboys love chili in all forms, having a few different kinds with all the toppings makes for happy party guests!

  • Directionals 11 of 15

Pointing all the cowboys and cowgirls in the right direction for a good time.

  • Pony Rides! 12 of 15

I mean really, what's a cowboy without his trusty mount? Pony rides are a must!

  • Wildflowers and Hankies 13 of 15

A totally easy accent idea here: Mason jars filled with tea lights and wildflowers set on top of a handkerchief.

  • Cowboy Cake 14 of 15

Yee-Haw! It's almost too perfect to cut, that rope trim is especially delightful!

  • Stick Horses 15 of 15
