14 DIY Holiday Photo Ideas For Baby

The holiday season is in full swing, which means houses are decorated, lights are hung throughout the home, and little ones are getting very excited. Of course the holidays wouldn’t be complete without all of those in front of the Christmas tree photos. But this year, why not change it up by incorporating a few easy props you can find around your own home?

Talk about tons of fun — especially if you are like me and celebrating a first Christmas with a newborn. After all, you have to get the perfect baby’s first Christmas photo, right?

Well, this year, I went straight to the source for some major holiday photo inspiration — Pinterest! Within 30 minutes, I was ready to try every single idea out. Poor Grayson. And well, all of my littles! Lucky for you, I am saving you some time and sharing the ones that really are worth trying with your baby.

1. Hot Chocolate Stand

Look at that sweet baby girl — front and center! Round up your brood and create a hot cocoa station to create the perfect holiday photo and a memory to look back on. This may be the cutest holiday photo I have ever seen! I can’t wait to try this with my little ones.

2. A Simple DIY

All you need is some garland, a Santa hat, and a cute baby in a basket to make this photo come to life!

3. Chalkboard Art

When you have a chalkboard, the options are endless in a photo. I can’t wait to try this! It is one of my favorites yet! I love incorporating a chalkboard into photos.

12. The Perfect Gift

This is so easy to do! Just wrap up a box and stick your little one inside. Top him off with a Santa hat right in front of the Christmas tree! This would be a great Christmas card, too!
