12 New Must Have Baby Products

Last week I had the chance to attend Big City Moms Biggest Baby Shower. It’s an event that brings together the top brands in the baby industry into one place. Expectant and new moms can test and view the latest and greatest baby products that are on the market. As someone who is a little bit obsessed with baby gear, I couldn’t wait to see what new baby products are hitting shelves this summer.

There were so many brands to see and products to test out. It definitely made me want a new little one after seeing all of the newborn gear and realizing that Avery is growing so quickly. With so many great products to see, I managed to narrow it down to some of my favorite new baby products that are just hitting store shelves that you definitely want to add to your growing collection of baby products!

The bright colors and cute designs are a great new way to add a little pizzaz to your bottles. The bird design gives the bottle a great modern twist and the whale looks like it's swimming in the sea. • Beco Soleil Baby Carrier 4 of 13
    photo 2-1

I am a huge fan of baby carrying and carry Avery around a lot in the city when we use public transportation. Beco Baby's newest carrier, the Soleil, is another great and innovative carrier to hit the market. The carrier can be worn on front, side, and back positions and the straps can be worn in a straight position of crossed in the back. The leg support is really padded allowing your baby to be as comfortable as possible. As moms, we want to carry as much as possible when we are out with our babies, that is why I love that Beco has a crossbody bag that can be attached to the Soleil so that you don't need anything else to carry your belongings.

  • Little Cord Art 5 of 13

If only I had known about this when I had both of my girls. Little Cord Art is absolutely amazing. It takes a piece of your umbilical cord, slices individual specimens from it  and put them on microscope slides. Then they will put a dye in it to make it visible to the naked eye. They will examine the tissues under a microscope and taken high-res photos of them. Those photos will then be put on a canvas as a unique piece of art for you to hang anywhere in your house or your child's nursery. Such a great and unique way to have one of a kind artwork that shows how magical your little one is.

  • Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Perfect Prep Machine 6 of 13

This machine reminded of a Keurig for bottles. It makes a bottle at the perfect temperature with your baby in less than two minutes. It filters the water, gives your bottle a quick "hot shot" to kill any bacteria inside of the bottle, and fills the bottle with the water at the perfect "body temperature." All you have to do is measure out the formula. It makes making a bottle quick and easy.

  • Joovy Boob Bottle 7 of 13
    photo 1

The name of this bottle alone will make you want to stop and take a look. The Jooby boob bottle has an easy vent system that is easy to install and easy to clean. I was really impressed that the nipple of the bottle is molded rather than cut. The bottles also attach to many popular breastpumps so that you do not have to transfer your milk into another bottle.  It also comes with an insulator that will allow you to keep your milk at the desired temperature and can be used while you are feeding the baby. Another great aspect of the Joovy Boob is that many parts are interchangeable with their toddler feeding line, Dood, and gradually helps your baby transition into sippy cups.

My stroller goes with me everywhere and I put nearly everything in it, so I was really excited when I saw this stroller organizer. It's made from a nice neoprene material that helps keep your drinks cold and your bottles at the right temperature. It also has a detachable wristlet that you can put all of your stuff in and easily remove when you need it.  I love that it has a headphone port for those phone calls on the go!

Fisher-Price has a great new line of feeding essentials for baby's and toddlers that are all BPA-free and leak proof. The line includes sippy cups, forks, spoons, plates, bowls, and more. I love this feeding set that suctions to a table or baby's highchair so that they can learn fine motor skills without picking up the plate and throwing it on the floor.

  • Nuna Pipa Car Seat 11 of 13
    photo 5-1

I am a huge fan of Nuna and all of their products. I have their highchair and the Leaf rocker at home and love them both. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they had a car seat on the market that is soon to be released in the US.  This is the first car seat for the brand and the sleek look and great safety features make it another nice car seat to hit the market. The car seat features a "dream drape" that blocks baby from the sun and attaches to the bottom of the car seat with magnets. I loved the aluminum carry handle that is both durable and lightweight. The base to the car seat has a stability leg security, which I had never seen before. The leg keeps the seat more intact and reduces forward movement during a forward impact by up to 90%.
