My Favorite Photos from Avery’s 11th Month

IMG_9315Say it aint so! Is Avery really 11 months already? Soon we will be leaving babyhood and taking the big leap into being a toddler. I know I don’t have much longer of having my little baby around, so I am soaking up every single minute of it.

This month brought so many great things for Avery. She is walking now (but only when she wants to.) Her personality is coming out more and more. She is a very opinionated little girl and will definitely tell you when she’s upset. Take a toy away from this little girl and she is not happy.

Avery and Harlan continue to interact more and more. They love playing with each other. Avery follows Harlan wherever she goes and tries to copy different things that she does.

Month 11 was filled with so many fun things. Here are a few of my favorites!

  • Doctor Appointment 1 of 14
    Doctor Appointment
We continue to go to the GI doctor for Avery's weight issue. These bright and cheery colors represent the great news we received that day on her weight gain!
  • Waving Hi 2 of 14
    Waving Hi
Avery's newest and favorite thing to do is say hi to every single person that passes her by. She is one of the friendliest and happiest little girls that I know.
  • My Little Walker 3 of 14
    My Little Walker
Avery started walking this month! Although she isn't fully walking all the time, she definitely knows how. Now if we can only get her confidence level up so that she knows she can do it. I love this little photo of her walking down our hallway.
  • Giving Me Love 4 of 14
    Giving Me Love
Avery has become so very affectionate and I love every second of it. If I tell her to "give me love" she lays her head down on me and starts saying "awww." It's one of the best feelings in the world.
  • Museum Day 5 of 14
    Museum Day
It's been freezing in Manhattan, so we took the family to the Met to help break the cabin fever. This was Avery's first time at the museum. She loved every minute of it as you can see from the picture.
  • Baptism 6 of 14
Avery was baptized this month. It was such a special time for our family and for Avery. She wore the same dress that I was baptized in and that Harlan was baptized in. I hope that they too will pass it on to their children.
  • Conversations Between Sisters 7 of 14
    Conversations Between Sisters
This is one of my very favorite photos of the girls. It catches a very special moment that is full of emotions.
  • A Happy No Napper 8 of 14
    A Happy No Napper
On this particular afternoon Avery did not want to nap, which is completely not like her. Although we missed her nap, she was in such a happy mood. Harlan was at preschool and we just sat and played that afternoon. It was so much fun to have our alone time together.
  • Pizza Pizza 9 of 14
    Pizza Pizza
Avery tried pizza for the first time this month and ate an entire slice. She loved it so much and was eating it so fast. She was so happy that she could eat the same meal that we were eating. She's becoming such a big girl!
  • Girl Time 10 of 14
    Girl Time
My husband went out of town for a weekend and we had a girls night full of fun and laughs. Here is my favorite shot of our girls photo shoot. We were all being a bit silly.
  • Crazy Girls 11 of 14
    Crazy Girls
For some reason Avery and I love to take crazy pictures of ourselves with the camera. This picture cracks me up because we have the exact same expression. She loves to copy whatever face or sound you are making.
  • Trouble Maker 12 of 14
    Trouble Maker
I turned my head for one second only to come back to find that Avery took nearly half of the wipes out of a brand new pack! She was so proud of her accomplishment.
  • Beach Girl 13 of 14
    Beach Girl
Although it was cold and windy, she loved getting her toes in the sand. It was so gorgeous out that day that we couldn't pass up a little outing at the beach.
  • Beach Day 14 of 14
    Beach Day
Although the circumstances weren't the best, we tried to make the best of our time spent in Florida. I took the girls to the beach for an afternoon and they loved it. It was a bit windy and cold, but Avery loved watching the waves crash into the shore.
