In addition to all the drama I’ve experienced with breast feeding, the cramp that it’s put in my personal style only ads insult to injury.  As a wardrobe stylist, I enjoy clothes.  I like playing with trends and pushing the envelope and I really love a cute dress.  But since I started nursing every outfit I wear is based on one thing and one thing only:  “Can I breastfeed in this?”.

Maryam Fortuna – the brains behind the blog Milk Friendly – provides nursing mamas with inspiration for getting dressed in a way that is both practical and on-trend.  Hallelujah!  No need to be dowdy just because you’re breast feeding ladies!  I know that dressing up – even a little makes me feel a million times better – even when nursing challenges arise.  Never underestimate the power of looking pretty to make you feel pretty.

Maryam’s mission is to make getting dress less complicated for today’s nursing mom and as you peruse her site, you’ll be provided with not only nursing style inspiration, but nursing inspiration as well.  The blog often features mama’s stories about their experiences with nursing that can encourage others (like myself) to stick with it!

Head over nursing mamas and get the inspiration to give your wardrobe that extra ooomph!
