Celeb Makeup Artists Share Their Favorite Nude Lipsticks

A great nude lipstick can work for almost any look, but it seems to be especially important this season. I blame it on this Yves Saint Laurent lipstick pin on Pinterest. I think that picture has spawned the entire trend!

Picking out the perfect nude lipstick isn’t as easy as you’d think. Makeup artist Emma White says, “I have found when choosing a nude, you must be careful to achieve that perfect natural glow. The color must assist in balancing your skin tone and avoid making the client appear too pale or tired. The right lipstick is a must!”

One of the best places to look for your perfect nude is often the inside of your lower lip. Your right nude lipstick will be a slightly darker version of this color, a balance of pink and peach that will work with your skin tone. It may take a few tries, but that perfect nude lipstick is out there for everyone!
