Dare to Go (Almost) Bare with Neutral Nail PolishKate Bryan
Underneath the endless options of corals, hot pinks, spicy oranges and bold reds, you may find that neutral nail polish you bought that one time. You may have only worn it once. Or maybe you never even bothered trying it because it looked too “boring”.
Well, it’s time to dust off that polish, or perhaps find another neutral shade to rock this summer. The beauty of a neutral nail polish is that it goes with absolutely everything. And you can coordinate it with whatever color you would like on your toes. In fact, it’s even more modern and trendy to not match your nails, but to simply “coordinate” them.
The key in finding a beautiful neutral nail polish is not going for something too tan. Look for pink or cream undertones. Sandy brown colors can be tough to pull off, so look for something lighter. Make sure the polish is pigmented enough that you can get full coverage within about 2-3 coats. You shouldn’t be able to see the whites of your nail tips through the polish.
