Truth be told, I frequently wear my hair down, but my husband has always loved it when I’ve worn my hair up – specifically in a ponytail. I think it is the combination of seeing something ‘different’ on me as well as a classic, yet more casual vibe.
However, a standard ponytail can start to feel boring or like something I would only wear if I was heading to the gym. I think that was one of the reasons I always shied away – that I felt as though I should be sporting workout attire if I was just ‘throwing’ my hair up.
But the good news is, with only a few tweaks (and VERY little additional time – BONUS!), you can style a your ponytail in such a way that you feel less gym-worthy and more styled and fancy.
