Whenever I take the time to do a facial mask, I’m always glad that I did. That seems to be the first thing that gets pushed off the list of “things I have to do today,” no matter how bad my skin may need it.
If you have dry or dehydrated skin, doing a facial mask regularly will really help keep your skin in tip top shape. If you avoid letting it get ultra dried out, you won’t have to do as much repairing with masks.
While the best thing you can do for your dry skin is hydrate from the inside, the second best thing would be to use topical products to nourish from the outside.
Whenever you are applying a mask, whether it be for hydration or anything else, be sure to apply it to clean skin. The more time you take to prep your skin beforehand, the better results you will get from the treatment.
If you are in the market for a hydrating mask, but don’t want to spend a pretty penny on it, check out some of these drugstore options.
