Growing up, Snow White was always my favorite. At the time, she was the only Disney princess with black hair like mine. Now that I am older, the Evil Queen from the same movie is much more appealing. So when e.l.f. and Ardell created an Evil Queen Look Book makeup kit and false lash kit as part of their Disney Villains Beauty Collection, I was dying to try them out. The instructions in the look book were easy to follow, and I found the makeup to be really easy to work with. This costume would be even more fun if you have a daughter who’d like to be Snow White! Grab Your Look Book 2 of 12
After priming my face with foundation and concealer, I grabbed my e.l.f. Evil Queen Look Book. As you can see, it comes with instructions for both day and night looks.
The Disney Villains Beauty Collection is found exclusively at Walgreens.
Prime Eyelids 3 of 12
Swipe the primer that comes with the kit onto your eyelids and blend until smooth. Let dry completely before applying eyeshadow.
Apply Lightest Shadow 4 of 12
Following the instructions for the nighttime look, I applied the eye color "witch" to my entire lid, blending up into the brow bone.
Midtone Shadow 5 of 12
Next, apply the midtone shade "vanity" to just your lids, blending up into your crease.
Darkest Shadow 6 of 12
The darkest shadow, "dark magic," is applied to the outer corner of eyes, blending up into the crease. Also use this color along your lower lash line for a smoky effect.
Liner 7 of 12
Using the liquid liner, line your top lashline.
Brows 8 of 12
While waiting for my liner to dry, I filled in my eyebrows using the the midtone color "vanity."
Mascara 9 of 12
I curled my lashes and applied one coat of mascara.
Lipstick 10 of 12
Apply the enclosed liquid lip color to complete the e.l.f. Look Book steps.
False Lashes 11 of 12
Then I applied Ardell Disney Villains Evil Queen lashes. The kit comes with three sets of falsies. I chose "shimmer," which are embellished with gold glitter.
